Coffee morning in aid of The Zambia Society Trust

The magnificent sum of £255 was raised at a coffee morning in March 2014 in aid of The Zambia Society Trust held at the Durham home of Janet Lucas. A beautiful spring morning saw a steady stream of friends and relatives calling for coffee and delicious home-made scones and cakes. All enjoyed a lovely social occasion and we had some very generous donations. Thanks to all who contributed, with particular thanks to Janet. The day was a great success – we need not have worried – and if another three ZST members feel that they too could hold a similar event, the proceeds would pay for one of our projects for an entire year. As Janet said: “If we can do it, so can you!”
