Annual General Meeting of The Zambia Society Trust 2013

A well-attended Annual General Meeting took place on Saturday 23 November 2013 at the Zambia High Commission in London.

In his report to the meeting, ZST Chairman thanked the High Commissioner and his staff for opening Zambia House especially for us on a Saturday. Following a buffet lunch, His Excellency Mr Paul William Lumbi welcomed members, and ZST Committee Member Mathias Mbewe gave an illustrated report on his visits earlier in the year to many of the Trust’s projects in Zambia.

This was followed by a talk by Dr Lawrence Dritsas from the University of Edinburgh, Centre of African Studies, on the Life and Legacy of David Livingstone which was very well-received.
