Donate Now

We are very grateful for every donation we receive and every gift makes a difference.

Here are some examples of how your donation could be spent...

£35 pays for a teacher’s wage for a week
£5 will feed a child for a week
£12 buys a football, made in Zambia by a social enterprise project, which will give many kids a source of fun, teamsmanship and exercise

There are several simple ways you can donate to The Zambia Society Trust. Simply pick the one that suits you.

LEAVE A LEGACY

Legacies to The Zambia Society Trust form an important part of our income every year. Leaving a gift to the Trust is a wonderful way of ensuring that our work can go on, and of helping to provide a better future for disadvantaged people in Zambia. If you are writing your Will, or updating an existing one, please consider including a legacy to The Zambia Society Trust. However large or small the gift, you can be sure that it will change the lives of those it helps. Because legacies to charities are exempt from inheritance tax in the UK, you can be sure that the full amount will go to support our work. If you already have a Will, a legacy to the Trust can be added by writing a simple codicil.

If you are kind enough to remember the Trust in your Will, make sure you take advice from a solicitor about the correct wording.

BECOME A MEMBER

For just £30 a year, you could become a member of The Zambia Society Trust and play a vital role in our work to improve the lives of people across Zambia.

The majority of the funds we raise to support our projects in Zambia comes from your subscriptions. The Zambia Society Trust is staffed entirely by volunteers giving us very low overheads so almost all of the money we raise goes directly to the people who desperately need help.

The Zambia Society Trust has no paid employees and all the administrative work of the Trust is carried out by members of the committee and other volunteers who give their time for free.

Our overheads are therefore extremely low and almost every penny raised in donations is used to help improve the lives of disadvantaged Zambians through a variety of targeted projects.
