Project update – Mpunde Mission near Kabwe

We have recently received a report and thanks from Father Adam at Mpunde Mission

“Dear Friends

Let me begin this letter of gratitude with greetings from Mpunde. We hope and pray that you are doing great and you are blessed with good health. I am really privileged and happy to present to you the achievements of our students and school children. None of these successes would have been possible without your help.

You have been changing the lives of our young Zambians for so many years. You have opened the door to the better life for so many families by helping their children. For this year we received from the ZST donation in the amount of Kwacha 214,006.80.

Thanks to this assistance, 22 youths received chance for education, 11 students and 11 from secondary and primary schools. Most of this amount was used to support students at universities and colleges. This is also your achievement because of your long-term help; the children were able to complete high school and have aspirations to go to universities.

We cannot forget to thank you for the footballs and netballs. This gift brought a lot of joy to our village. We practice to be able to compete with Kabwe teams.

We cannot find suitable words to express our enormous gratitude. We always keep you in our prayers begging you not to forget about us in Mpunde. May almighty God bless you and your families always!”

Father Adam thanked ZST for providing the students with the opportunity to further their education beyond Mpunde. Their families could not afford the college and university fees. 

Courses studied included transport logistics, engineering, pharmacy, teaching, nursing, public health, metal fabrication, and tourism at universities and colleges in Lusaka, Livingstone, Kabwe and Serenje.
