Northern Golf Day 2018

September 5th, 2018 – and unbelievably our 8th Harrogate golf day kindly hosted once again by Sterling Corporate Finance LLP .   

Thirteen teams gathered at Rudding Park on a glorious autumn morning.  We have a great record of fabulous weather on these occasions: seven years out of eight we have had sunshine. The day began with the serious business of consuming vast quantities of bacon rolls and coffee before teeing-off. We sent our golfers on their way with delicious flapjacks, and welcomed them back for an even more delicious meal, after which all enjoyed a light-hearted prize giving, which was preceded by a very serious message about The Zambia Society Trust and the work it does.

We are so grateful to all our participants and some very supportive friends which enabled us to raise the marvellous sum of £2,400.
