We are delighted to announce that this year we have been able to offer education grants to a total of seventy-seven students studying at universities and colleges in Zambia in 2025 - a record number. Fifty of these are new beneficiaries and twenty seven are continuing their studies, having also been awarded scholarships in 2024.The subjects they are studying are very varied, but there is a strong emphasis on health (clinical medicine, nursing, midwifery, diagnostic radiography, pharmacy, biomedical sciences, public health); other subjects include engineering, primary teaching, agriculture crop science, agribusiness management, public administration, purchasing and supply, transport and logistics, finance, and law.
We had over 120 applications for education grants this year, so sadly there were many we could not offer grants to. All successful applicants have now been informed.
Below are two expressions of thanks recently received from recipients of ZST education grants.
“I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude to the Zambia Society Trust for the generous grant towards my tuition fees for this year. Your support has brought immense relief and joy to me and my family.
Your Trust's commitment to empowering students like me through education is truly commendable. The grant has not only alleviated our financial burden but has also given me the opportunity to focus on my studies without worrying about the financial implications.
I am deeply grateful for your trust's investment in my future. Your support serves as a motivation for me to work harder and achieve my academic goals. I am committed to making the most of this opportunity and using my education to make a positive impact in my community.
Please extend my gratitude to the entire Zambia Society Trust team, including the donors and supporters who make such grants possible. Your collective efforts are transforming lives and shaping futures.
Thank you once again for your kindness and generosity.”
And
“Hello! My name Is … a recent graduate from the University of Zambia. However, I would like to thank Zambia Society Trust, donors, and the entire team for contributing to my achievement.
