Social Gathering Zambia Society Trust at the Zambia High Commission 2 Palace Gate London W8 5NG on Saturday 31st May 2025
Members and Friends are warmly invited to join us for a meeting of the Zambia Society Trust at the Zambia High Commission, 2 Palace Gate, London, W8 5NG on Saturday, 31st May, by kind permission of Her Excellency the High Commissioner.
The aim is to give members and supporters the opportunity to meet together socially - a chance to meet the Trustees, catch up with old friends, and learn more about the work of the Trust. We are also delighted that the meeting will include a talk about The Book Bus, another small charity working in Zambia, by David Gordon, the CEO, and Monica Mulenga, the Country Director.
The programme is as follows:
12.00 onwards - Arrive at the Zambia High Commission
13.00 - Light buffet lunch
14.00 - Talk: The work of The Book Bus (David Gordon and Monica Mulenga)
15.15 - Meeting closes.
The cost of the light buffet lunch will be £16 per person, inclusive of wine and soft drinks. Vegan and gluten free sandwiches will be available.
Zambia Society Trust merchandise will be on sale, together with some items made by APTERS in Lusaka.
