Donate Now

We are very grateful for every donation we receive and every gift makes a difference. Here are some examples of how your donation could be spent...

  • £16 pays for a teacher’s wage for a week
  • £30 will feed and educate a child for an entire year
  • £11 buys a football, made in Zambia by a social enterprise project, which will give many kids a source of fun, teamsmanship and exercise

The Zambia Society Trust has no paid employees and all the administrative work of the Trust is carried out by members of the committee and other volunteers who give their time for free. Our overheads are therefore extremely low and almost every penny raised in donations is used to help improve the lives of disadvantaged Zambians through a variety of targeted projects.

There are several simple ways you can donate to The Zambia Society Trust. Read on and pick the one that suits you.

Donate in memory

Some people like to remember a loved one with a donation - perhaps on a special anniversary - to a favourite charity. If you have lost someone who had an interest in Zambia, please consider making a donation in their memory to support the work of The Zambia Society Trust. Leave a legacy

Legacies to The Zambia Society Trust form an important part of our income every year. Leaving a gift to the Trust is a wonderful way of ensuring that our work can go on, and of helping to provide a better future for disadvantaged people in Zambia. If you are writing your Will, or updating an existing one, please consider including a legacy to The Zambia Society Trust. However large or small the gift, you can be sure that it will change the lives of those it helps. Because legacies to charities are exempt from inheritance tax in the UK, you can be sure that the full amount will go to support our work. If you already have a Will, a legacy to the Trust can be added by writing a simple codicil.

If you are kind enough to remember the Trust in your Will, make sure you take advice from a solicitor about the correct wording.
